Code of Conduct

Our community at DLearners is firmly dedicated to inclusion, ensuring that everyone feels safe and welcome. As a social-forward, professional networking group and organization we expect our members to understand the impact of their words. To maintain a positive and respectful environment, we have established the following guidelines for interacting with the community and team Members. Violations of these guidelines may result in the removal of posts and/or comments, immediate suspension, or permanent banning at the discretion of DLearners.

Give more than you take.

To foster the growth of our members, DLearners provides a platform to share ideas, ask questions, and find answers. This requires collaboration and a commitment to building a quality community. We encourage all members to give more than they take by sharing knowledge and experiences without expecting personal gain.

No abuse, harassment, or disrespect.

DLearners has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, harassment, and microaggressions. This includes, but is not limited to, memes, gifs, comments, discussions, webinars, or private messages. No spam, promotion, or selling.

DLearners is a community dedicated to learning, growth, and sharing. It is a space where members can be vulnerable and transparent. Therefore, using the platform for sales, self-promotion, or spam undermines the purpose of our community. We kindly request that members refrain from posting promotional content or solutions in which they have a vested interest.

Respect everyone's privacy.

It is essential to respect the privacy of others within DLearners. Members should refrain from discussing other individuals or disclosing private information and data. Information shared or obtained via DLearners may not be used to sell or share via other channels. If you witness such behaviour, please report it as soon as possible.

Debate ideas, not people.

DLearners encourages the discussion of controversial ideas while maintaining an atmosphere of informed and thoughtful discourse. Members are welcome to present opposing viewpoints, opinions, or data. However, personal attacks are strictly prohibited. Challenging viewpoints is acceptable, but attacking individuals is not allowed.

Avoid inflammatory topics.

We kindly request that discussions within DLearners do not involve politics, religion, or similar topics. DLearners values diversity and appreciates the different beliefs and perspectives that contribute to our community.

No call-outs.

DLearners believes that discussions and interactions can be conducted without specifically naming individuals or companies. To ensure a comfortable environment for all members, negative comments or posts about specific people or companies should be avoided.

To make the most of your experience on DLearners, we encourage the following:

Engagement: Ask questions, provide answers, and actively participate in discussions. Testing ideas and sharing experiences contribute to the growth of the community.

Support: DLearners is a supportive and encouraging group. Remember that you are not alone in your journey, and we are here to grow together.

Depth and transparency: DLearners is a space for honesty and authenticity. By openly sharing challenges, issues, wins, and failures, we can learn and create a positive impact.

Continued growth: Learning is a lifelong process. There is always more to discover and new ways to approach things. By asking questions and joining discussions, you can provide support and help others grow.

Negative comments or callouts are not welcome. Before sharing, think about whether your contribution is thoughtful, helpful, inspiring, necessary, and kind (THINK).
