Arun Fernandez

Founder and Back Bone

Meet Arun Fernandez, the founder of DLearners and the backbone of our organization. Despite being diagnosed with dyslexia at just 13 years old, Arun refused to let this learning difficulty hold him back. Growing up, Arun excelled in sports and public speaking, but struggled with academics, particularly reading and writing. His teachers often grew impatient with his slow progress, and he was labelled as "stupid" and told he had a "failed future." But Arun's parents never gave up on him, and with their support, he persevered through years of struggles, shifting schools, and working with various Special Educators. Eventually, he was diagnosed with dyslexia and discovered alternate, innate abilities to transform his weaknesses into strengths. Now, Arun along with this royal team wants to Build and Scale DLearners, A Platform as a service by bringing together experts in the field of dyslexia and focus on sharing the tech-based learning platform with schools, empowering special educators, the dyslexia community, and the education ecosystem to create a platform where other children don't have to go through the hardships he faced. So, join us at DLearners and let's make learning accessible for everyone!
